In 2011 we launched 'The Gelatosmith', Sydney's first pop-up jewellery and gelato bar. As part of our 'Local Smith' project (a celebration of the handmade and artisanal), 'The Gelatosmith' was a collaboration with Nikky Tsang.
In 2010 The Sydney Morning Herald awarded Nikky 'The Young Achiever in Food Award' for his work at the famed Lindfield gelateria, Gelatiamo.
Now based in Surry Hills, Nikky is one of countless 'Local Smiths' we admire for their passion and commitment to refinement. His signature flavours such as Coconut and Red Bean, Fig Pannacotta and Nocciolina (a salty peanut base with caramel and chocolate swirl) have all made an appearance and are already attracting a cult following.
